Waypoint Electronics

Waypoint Electronics Ltd is an established Marine Electronics Business based in the Bay of Islands, servicing all of Northland, New Zealand. Business owner Wayne came to Utopia to upgrade their old website and make it mobile-friendly. He also wanted to expand and sell a wider variety of products. A Content Management System (CMS) was required so staff could easily update the site, and ecommerce was also required to order products online. The CMS platform chosen for this project was CMS Made Simple.

After discussing content and functionality Utopia produced a mock-up of the new site using the logo and colours supplied. This was fine-tuned and the final website implemented. Utopia used technology to copy the content from their old website to the new one so no-one had to re-enter it.

Customers can now easily order products online. Search Engine Optimisation was completed on the website pages and content.  The new website is fully responsive allowing it to work across multiple devices like phones and tablets.
