Power and Diesel provide mechanical and electrical services for heavy equipment, generators, and agricultural machinery throughout New Zealand and the South Pacific. Business owner John approached Utopia to create a website that would showcase his generator servicing business. The website needed to outline the range of services offered, highlight the equipment brands he works with, and encourage visitors to get in touch to arrange servicing appointments.

As the Power and Diesel team would be maintaining the website themselves, an easy-to-use Content Management System (CMS) was required. CMS Made Simple was selected for this project. Following discussions around content and functionality, Utopia created a website mock-up incorporating the company’s existing logo and branding. After refinement and approval, the final website was developed and implemented, with Utopia also entering the initial website content. 

A contact form allows visitors to easily make enquiries, while an embedded Google Map helps customers locate the business. Utopia also assisted with arranging website hosting. A blog was included to enable the publication of company news, updates, and industry information. The website is fully responsive, ensuring it performs well across desktops, tablets, and smartphones. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) was also completed across the website’s pages and content to help improve visibility in search engines.
