Utopia and C.I.D. have a long-standing relationship when it comes to managing its database of identification details. Recently C.I.D. asked us to develop an app to allows installers and users of their products to capture on-site data.
A series of meetings to discuss functionality and content allowed detailed technical specifications to be produced. Mock-ups of the layout were also developed using their existing branding and colour schemes. This included designs for mobile phones and tablets.
In the past customers would write down information and then later enter it into the CidCert website. The new app allows users to enter information on-site so no double-handling of information is required. All data is synced to the main website database.
