Dermalounge came to Utopia as they were embarking on a new venture in Auckland. They were setting up a new boutique laser clinic offering high end cosmetic treatments and Utopia was there to design and implement a complete web solution.
In two weeks Utopia completed the project which started with designing the new site to match the business' branding. Once complete the site was implemented in Utopia's Content Management System (CMS) to provide Dermalounge with the ability to update all site content. Before the launch date Dermalounge's owner was able to easily update imagery and content across the entire site.
The site was launched a few days before Dermalounge ran a "daily-deal" to draw new customers. On the day of the deal the website received a lot of traffic with people seeking information on the deal and other services available.
After the deal finished, Geri from Dermalounge commented "The deal kicked off at around 7am, by 1pm we had sold 420 and by 3pm we had totally sold out of 500 vouchers. The link to the website allowed the influx of questions to be managed by the information set out in the site, it was very user friendly and kept the discussion board questions to a minimum."
